PRICING METHODOLOGY AND TARIFFS
Note that no new connections are offered to the N4 and N5 tariff. If you require a supply greater than 100 Ampere, you will be offered the Maximum Demand (NMD) Tariff (the U or R indicates a pricing differential between properties that are defined as Urban or Rural).
We encourage you to carefully consider the supply option that best suits your long-term needs as the capacity of the supply under these General Tariffs is restricted by the size of the fuse installed.
If you wish to connect loads that may require a large starting current, such as an irrigation pump, you need to give careful consideration to the size of the connection required. Alternatively you can install special equipment (eg soft starters) that will manage the initial current to ensure the supply fuse is not damaged.
Horizon also offers a domestic tariff (to qualifying customers) with a capped fixed daily charge of 15 cents.
