Default Price-Quality Path Compliance
Pursuant to Part 4 of the Commerce Act 1986, the Commerce Commission has determined a default price-quality path that applies to electricity distribution businesses that are subject to default/customised price-quality regulation under the Act.
The determination that takes effect on and from 1 April 2010 and applies for the period 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2015, resets the default price-quality path provided for by section 54J(2) of the Act, as required by section 54K(1) of the Act.
The default price-quality path, together with the annual compliance statement requirements, are set out in the Commerce Act (Electricity Distribution Default Price-Quality Path) Determination 2010, and subsequent Commerce Act (Electricity Distribution Default Price-Quality Path) Amendment Determination 2011.
The Horizon Energy Default Price-Quality Path Compliance Statements have been prepared to demonstrate compliance, or otherwise, with the price path and quality standards within the determination.
