Staying Safe Near Horizon Energy Equipment

Teach your children about the dangers of electricity and always demonstrate safe behaviour.  Remember that electrical equipment such as substations and green transformer boxes are out of bounds.

Children should be told to never play near any electrical equipment.  The temptation to retrieve a ball, should it go over the fence, could prove deadly.  Should a ball or toy make it over one of our substation fences just call Horizon Energy – we will retrieve it for you.
